NBS V.o.I.C.E. Service Now Fully T.38 Compliant
Hosted VoIP Offering's Fax over IP Compatibility Is Enhanced
Wayne, NJ - August 22, 2011 - NBS, a fully integrated communication services provider and telecom reseller, announced today the completion of several enhancements to its Hosted V.o.I.C.E. (Voice over Internet Communications Exchange) service that results in full T.38 compliance. This advancement involved software development work on the company’s in-house V.o.I.C.E. platform as well rigorous interoperability testing with several underlying carriers and DID providers. NBS’ utilization of the T.38 standard allows its customers to reliably send and receive faxes via the company’s VoIP service. This is a marked differentiator from other VoIP providers who require separate telephone lines to be installed dedicated solely to faxing.
NBS’ Hosted V.o.I.C.E. product suite, with end-to-end T.38 support, allows customers to deliver and receive faxes over NBS provided connectivity. This avoids the cost of dedicated for fax telephone (POTS) lines and/or related CPE and hardware. As a result, users gain significant savings in lower call rates with this scalable solution, requiring additional bandwidth only for expansion, all while meeting stringent demands for enterprise quality and reliability.
“This is just another example of the continuous development and improvement efforts that we invest our time and resources in,” said NBS President Russell Markman. “We have developed dozens of new applications and features since first launching NBS’ Hosted V.o.I.C.E. service and typically we don’t charge extra to existing customers for the new functionality. We look at these additional features and capabilities as simply a reward to our loyal customers,” explained Markman.
In business for 27 years, the company offers its “total telecom solutions” via its dealer/agent partners and directly to the end user/customer. They have been a part of the indirect sales agent or channel partner community from the beginning and will be discussing in detail their products and services at the Fall Channel Partners Conference & Expo, this month in Chicago, IL. From hosted VoIP to SIP and TDM based services, the company will be available to discuss their full product line at the show. They will be exhibiting at booth number 1421 at Channel Partners, which is taking place from August 24th-26th, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.
