Combining Voice and Data

Integrated circuits combine voice and data functionality on the same T1 circuit. The data component is usually Internet access, but can also include frame relay and private line functionality as well. Voice services can include local service, long distance service or toll-free service. By combining voice and data on the same circuit, you can gain access to the low circuit-based usage rates and reliable T1-based Internet without requiring two distinct circuits.
