NBS Redundant WAN Service
As part of our mission to provide best-of-class services, NBS offers several WAN redundancy options for customers who require highly-available Voice, MPLS, and Direct Internet Access (DIA) services. While the NBS network is engineered to exceed our aggressive Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets, the characteristic failure point for any customer network is the local access circuit. Our redundant WAN solution allows our customers to eliminate this single point of failure from their network design without assuming the financial and technological burden of a complex, home-grown, multi-carrier solution. By leveraging NBS’ extensive portfolio of carrier-partners our customers are able to install redundant circuits to any location utilizing diverse underlying carriers and access mediums.
By combining this physical redundancy and diversity with our network-based intelligent routing solutions, a reliable, fully automated failover solution can be implemented that works to ensure a positive user experience during network-impacting events. Our standard offering includes three options that provide varying levels of service to meet a diverse range of customer requirements both technically and financially. While these options are intended to meet the needs of most customers, application-specific solutions can be engineered to provide an unparalleled level of network reliability for any situation.
